Last Year's Birthday Trip to St. Augustine

My husband and I are celebrating our birthday this week (we share the same birthday… five years apart!) One of my favorite things about sharing a birthday with my husband is that we always get to celebrate the day together! It’s such a special day for us to celebrate each other and that we get to grow up together. 

We usually plan a trip together for our birthday… but with COVID19, that won’t be an option this year. I’m still so excited to celebrate together this week and make some awesome memories! Speaking of memories… I found myself reminiscing on our birthday trip we took to beautiful St. Augustine last year. We found the cutest AirBnB (it was retro-themed and SO cozy!)

We fell in love with St. Augustine and would love to go back some day! It’s seriously the cutest town and there’s so much history! We loved visiting the historic lighthouse built in 1874. We climbed all the way to the top of the 165ft tall lighthouse! 

We celebrated our birthday dinner at The Reef, a beautiful oceanfront restaurant. We also spent time at the local beach and at the historic district - filled with museums and the town’s history. St. Augustine is such a peaceful and beautiful town. We can’t wait to take a trip and visit again when everything is back to normal!
