Small Shop Feature: Carissa Miss
I know I’m a little late on celebrating Small Business Saturday… but who says you can’t celebrate all weekend long?
When I came across Carissa Miss – I instantly fell in love with their dresses. (They’re gorgeous - the dress I’m wearing is from them and it’s one of my favorites!) But when I saw the cause behind Carissa’s business, I knew I had to feature her small business on The Alexis Family.
What makes Carissa Miss so unique is that 100% of their profits are contributed to the Footsteps For Fertility Foundation – a nonprofit organization that raises money to help families who experience infertility.
Carissa Rasmussen, the beautiful owner of Carissa Miss, stated, “For some, the journey to motherhood is long and requires medicine, physicians and even surgery. I am one of those who have struggled with getting pregnant, but I’m blessed to have two miracle babies. It is so hard to endure the roller coaster of financial, emotional and physical burdens on your own so I started this shop to help build support and spread awareness.”
While infertility isn’t a personal struggle I’ve walked through… my heart is hopeful for future mommies who are walking through this trying time. Please take a look at Carissa Miss and consider supporting this small business that truly gives back!
P.S. God is so good and faithful. If you’re currently struggling with infertility, please remember that He knows that pain and He wants to comfort it. Never stop praying or believing… He’s truly a God of miracles.
P.S.S. While my dress was gifted to me, all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
